In the meantime, two pop-ups provided the opportunity to enjoy gourmet dishes in a new setting. The latest volume of the extraordinary series "Ikarus. Salzburg Welcomes the World's best Chefs" contains gourmet recipes from international guest chefs for you to recreate at home. Here, the world's best chefs, handpicked by Executive Chef and Ikarus mastermind Martin Klein, share their culinary stories - because that's precisely what this globally unique concept is based on: every month, the kitchen of Restaurant Ikarus opens its doors to a new guest chef. This brings new influences, fresh inspirations, and exciting flavors.
In its 22 years of existence, Restaurant Ikarus has welcomed more than 270 chefs, showcasing that cooking knows no boundaries. They have traveled from 40 different countries, all bringing their unique philosophies, individual styles, and spectacular menus to Salzburg.
The bookazine series 'Ikarus. Salzburg Welcomes the World' documents these encounters as well as the collaboratively developed recipes. This year, it presents itself in a new, very special style. In line with the extensive makeover of Red Bull Hangar-7 and Restaurant Ikarus, the bookazine and the digital 'Ikarus Experience' have been completely redesigned.
